There are four amendments to the U.S. Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them.
Accepted answers
- Citizens eighteen (18) and older (can vote).
- You don't have to pay (a poll tax) to vote.
- Any citizen can vote. (Women and men can vote.)
- A male citizen of any race (can vote).
Any one of these counts as correct — you do not have to give them all.
Why that is the answer
Voting rights amendments prohibit discrimination by race (15th), by sex (19th), by poll tax (24th), and set the voting age at 18 (26th).
